Every woman loves to have healthy and beautiful hair, but not everyone knows how to get this done. Hair is the beauty of a lady, it makes one feel confident and happy.

It doesn't matter whether your hair is long or short, but it does matter that they are clean and healthy.

I popped into the shop the other day to buy some hair products, but boy these have become so expensive, it's about time we think about DIY alternatives. Some simple and everyday products can solve our problems so easily but most times we ignore these.

Am going to walk you through My Top 4 Most Effective DIY Hair Rinces. I use few on a regular basis (at least once a month) and am very happy with the results.

Usually, everyone has an opinion about what constitutes the perfect hair rinse, so I’ve rounded up 4 of the best hair rinses I’ve come across. Feel free to give them a try and see which one works best for you!

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar comes 1st on my list of the Top 4 Most Effective DIY Hair Rinces. It's suitable for all types of hair (afro or not/ natural or not). If you suffer from dandruff this is the solution for your hair as well.
How to use it: There are tons of recipes out there but am going to walk you through the one I know and use. I dilute 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar with 16oz of water. Once am through with my shampoo, I'll rinse my hair with this mixture and let it sit in for 4 or 5 minutes, then I rinse it out.

Rinsing your hair with this Apple Cider Vinegar is essential because it removes product buildup, makes your hair shiny and promotes hair growth.

Some people find Apple Cider Vinegar smelly but I personally am ok with it as long as it does what I want. Jessica Alba is also a big fan.

You might want to try this out and let us know how it works out for you.

2. Beer

Number 2 on the list of My Top 4 Most Effective DIY Hair Rinces is beer (lool). Did I say Beer? Yes I have and have been using this hair rinse for years. Well it sounds strange and daunting but trust me it works miracle on the hair. the first time my mum told me about this, I thought she had lost it, until I read good reviews about it and tried it myself.

How to use it: Leave a bottle of beer out until it’s completely flat and has a room-temperature. Pour it all over your hair after shampooing, leave it in for 2-3 minutes, then rinse out very well. Bear in mind that the beer smells a lot, so it's important to rinse your hair properly.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is a big fan of the beer rinse and you can see why. Her hair looks amazing.

3. Hair Tea Rinse

I haven't personally tried this yet but it said to be the treatment used on models hair at various Fashion Weeks. Anyone knows more about the Tea Rinse method? Please share if you've done it. The most popular tea used are black and green teas.

How to use it: Brew a strong pot of black or green tea. Let it cool down to room temperature, then pour it through hair after conditioning, then rinse well. The caffeine in black and green tea is also supposed to enhance the curl pattern in natural hair. I heard that black tea can discolor the hair, so be careful if you go down this route.

4. Champagne

Champagne is 4th on my list of  My Top 4 Most Effective DIY Hair Rinces. It is said to temporarily boost brunette hair colors and gives shinny hair. Do you really have a bottle of champagne to poor on your hair?

How to use it: Open a bottle of champagne, pour it over your head and comb through. Leave it in for 15 minutes and then rinse well. I personally will rather drink it though.
